This looks like a great film, Janet Jackson gets to really show off her talent, always good when a beautiful woman isn’t scared to look ugly!
Out April 2nd in the US – Would be nice to see this on the big screen in the UK but I won’t hold my breath…

Maxwell came back last year and it looks like D’angelo is due to bless us this year if the rumours are to be believed.
This unmastered leak is a new direction for him but still sounds 1000 times better than the Rap/Grime/RnB/Pop crap we’ve been subjected to of late.
Londoners will have to travel far and wide to catch Precious on the big screen as it has only been released at a handful of cinemas, mostly in central London.
The film has been released to massive reviews. Mo Nique has already picked up a few awards for her portrayal of ‘Mary’ the abusive mother and there are whispers that it is due to earn a slew of Academy Award Nominations, yet in The UK it has not been put on general release.
I enquired at Greenwich Imax why this is the case and was told:
“Our audience likes action, fast music and things that blow up, this movie is seen as a bit too ‘deep’ for the people that come here. The only Odeon you can go to will be Covent Garden or Kensington, the type of people who live in those areas are the ones the bosses think are intelligent enough for this movie”
After a few singles leaked online, the release date has been revised from March to April 20th.
The first single will still be “As We Enter” despite the new leak “Strong Will Continue” being tipped as a tribute song for Haiti. There are rumours that this song will not appear on the album at all.

Gracious K, DJ Silencer, and old nemesis Maxwell D were among the people who traded insults with him when they were all supposed to be in a church somewhere confessing their sins. (against music)

Mo’Nique scooped the Supporting Actress gong at the SAG (Screen Actors Guild) awards, Saturday 23rd Jan in L.A.
Academy Awards Nominations are announced next Tuesday 2nd Feb, all eyes and ears will be listening out for her name – and the screaming which will follow – unless the Academy pulls one of its legendary upsets this year…

Tyrese spoke about his relationship with Teddy in a recent interview:
I started going to Philadelphia for a week at a time because I was doing the research for the life story of Teddy Pendergrass. I never sung in a movie so it would have been my first time singing in a film. Thankfully the film is still in motion, I just hope I can make him proud. We ended up getting really close and that’s like my step-pops. It was a big loss.”

Kanye West and his manbag Amber Rose decided to go to Paris Men’s Fashion Week looking like a pair of damn fools!!
They attended the Kris Van Assche show together and everyone is commenting on Amber’s ghastly shredded black dress worn over a nude coloured bodysuit which needed some serious support up top.
For me the worse fashion crime in this picture are Kanye’s shoes!!!
Before this they went to the Louis Vuitton show in matching Fur coats – so 1998!
Miss Amber liked her hooded lynx fur jacket so much that she refused to take it off as she sat in front row, the guy to her right’s face says it all!!
